ABMC Awarded Drug Testing Contract in Missouri

KINDERHOOK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2007--American Bio Medica Corporation (NASDAQ: ABMC) announced today that they have been notified by the Office of State Courts Administrator of the Supreme Court of Missouri that they have been awarded a contract to supply drug courts in the State of Missouri with ABMC's point of collection drug testing products, more specifically its Rapid TOX(R) and Rapid Drug Screen(R) products. ABMC's devices will be used in drug courts located throughout the State of Missouri.

There are currently 108 drug court programs in the State of Missouri with approximately 3,000 participants. The contract began in late September 2007 and will run through late September 2008. While the Company cannot put a value on the contract for the coming year, last year the State of Missouri drug court programs spent in excess of $300,000 for their drug testing supplies.
